ANTESEDEN PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN PARTISIPASI DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN POSDAYA DI PEMERINTAH KOTA BEKASI
Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perkembangan posdaya di Kota Bekasi dari tahun 2011 sampai dengan 2013 dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebijakan, komitmen, dan peran Pemerintah Kota Bekasi dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi anggota posdaya untuk mengembangkan posdaya. Data diambil menggunakan metode sampling berstrata tiga tahap. Alat analisis menggunakan pendekatan Generalized Structured Component Analysis. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa secara umum posdaya di Kota Bekasi mengalami perkembangan dari tahun 2011 hingga 2013. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa kebijakan dan peran Pemerintah Kota Bekasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi anggota posdaya. Motivasi anggota posdaya juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan posdaya dengan variabel partisipasi sebagai variabel intervening. Namun demikian, penelitian ini belum dapat membuktikan pengaruh komitmen Pemerintah Kota Bekasi terhadap motivasi anggota posdaya. Penelitian ini juga belum dapat membuktikan pengaruh peran Pemerintah Kota Bekasi dengan partisipasi dan motivasi terhadap perkembangan posdaya.

ANTECEDENTS OF MOTIVATION AND PARTICIPATION ENHANCEMENT IN DEVELOPING POSDAYA MUNICIPALITY GOVERNMENT IN BEKASI
Abstract
The study was conducted to determine the progress of posdaya in Bekasi municipality from 2011 to 2013 as well as to determine the effect of the policy, the commitment, and the role of Bekasi government in increasing motivation and participation of posdaya’s members to develop posdaya. The sample taken by using the sampling method and a three-stage stratified sampling method was used. This study also used structural model. This study found that in general posdaya in Bekasi experienced growth from 2011 to 2013. Moreover, this study also found that the policies and the role of the Bekasi government gave a significant effect on the motivation of members posdaya. Motivations of posdaya members also have a significant effect on the development of posdaya with variable participation as an intervening variable. However, this research has not been able to support the hypothesis on the effect of the Bekasi government's commitment to the motivation posdaya members. This research also has not been able to show the influence of the role of Bekasi municipal government with the participation and motivation for the development of posdaya.
