Peran Lingkungan Etnobotani pada Peningkatan Kemampuan Spasial Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun di KB Bougenville Sitirejo Wagir

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh lingkungan etnobotani terhadap peningkatan kemampuan spasial anak usia dini. Lingkungan etnobotani yang dimaksud adalah ruang belajar luar yang memanfaatkan kekayaan tanaman lokal dan budaya tradisional sebagai media eksplorasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi deskriptive kualitatif dengan pendekatan observasi, wawancara terhadap guru serta anak-anak di KB Bougenville dan dokumentasi yang mengintegrasikan lingkungan etnobotani dalam pembelajaran. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas seperti mengenal rute atau peta, mengenal jenis-jenis tanaman, menyusun pola tanaman, dan menjelajah area tanam dapat merangsang persepsi spasial anak secara signifikan. Kesimpulan menyatakan bahwa lingkungan etnobotani merupakan sumber belajar yang efektif dalam mendukung perkembangan kognitif spasial anak usia dini.
