Meningkatkan Imajinasi Anak Usia Dini Melalui Aktivitas Bermain Lego Pada Kelompok B2 di TKIT Al Jabar Bekasi

Abstract


Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan imajinasi anak usia dini pada kelompok B2 TKIT Al Jabar Bekasi yang ditunjukkan melalui perilaku pasif, kecenderungan meniru karya teman, serta rendahnya ketekunan ketika menghadapi tantangan. Padahal, imajinasi merupakan fondasi penting bagi perkembangan kreativitas, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan inovasi pada masa perkembangan selanjutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan imajinasi anak melalui aktivitas bermain Lego. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 12 anak kelompok B2 yang terdiri dari 5 anak laki-laki dan 7 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, checklist penilaian perkembangan imajinasi, wawancara dengan guru kelas, serta dokumentasi berupa foto dan hasil karya anak. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menghitung persentase perkembangan anak dalam empat kategori perkembangan yaitu Belum Berkembang (BB), Mulai Berkembang (MB), Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH), dan Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan imajinasi anak secara signifikan. Pada tahap pra-siklus, 75% anak berada pada kategori BB dan 25% pada kategori MB. Setelah tindakan pada siklus I, 41,7% anak mencapai kategori MB. Pada akhir siklus II, 83,3% anak berada pada kategori MB dan 16,7% masih pada kategori BB. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas bermain Lego efektif sebagai strategi pembelajaran kreatif untuk menstimulasi perkembangan imajinasi anak usia dini.
